It has been some time, but I am back on the air starting Tuesday June 23rd from 5 to 6 pm on KUCI 88.9 FM.
Orange County is a vacuum of morals and ethics when it comes to it's public servants. I am not naive to think the OC is unique. But between the disgraced Sheriff, unethical city council people, weird county supervisors, dirty spokesmen and women, and down right rotten king makers, we have our hands full keeping track of what goes on politically in this county.
The OC Show with Cameron Jackson is the only hour you need each week to get the real scoop on what's really happening with OC politics. And don't worry, if politics isn't your thing I cover all sorts of interesting news happenings from the OC and beyond.
Each week I will give my take on the most relevant local stories. Anything from the outlandish local pending laws, regulations, ordinances and/or legislation to the dark, smokey, backroom, seedy political deals being conjured up by the OC's kingmakers. I'll bring you the facts and interviews with the public servants (think politicians) and newsmakers of the county.
The only agenda I have is to tell you the truth about what really occurs in the OC. I am a registered Republican that's more conservative than liberal, and more libertarian than conservative. Don't pigeon-hole me though, I'm no Kool-Aid drinker, both sides will be held accountable.
I believe we should hold our public servants accountable for their actions and always treat them as what they are...servants of the public placed into office at the behest of the people. I believe in the democratic process and that their authority is just as the founders intended...for and by the people. They are not above the law and they are not rock stars as portrayed in the mass media.

- Cameron is a local private investigator dealing in primarily criminal defense. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCI in 2005 with a BA in Political Science. Prior to UCI and PI work, Cameron was a San Diego Police officer. Working in both the poorest and wealthiest neighborhoods has given Cameron a perspective on race, religion, socio-economics, and the human condition that is unique to most. His interest in OC politics occurred during the corrupt tenure of disgraced former Sheriff Mike Carona. Cameron was one of only three media voices who regularly reported on and crticized the corrupt former Sheriff well before his downfall.
